Little Bean

We had Audrina's 6th month checkup on Wednesday.
Here are her stats: weight 13# 1oz, 25 2/3" long and head is 16 1/3"

Her percentiles have dropped, so we have to go back in 6 weeks for another growth check.

Zach and I weren't that surprised that she is small compared to other babies, but she's even smaller than James was at his 6 month (except for height, and he probablly made up for the weight difference with his head). We are not worried about it, she is very active and continues to stay where she should be developmentally, so I bet she was just having a 'skinny' day and when we go back in 6 weeks she'll be more in line with where she has been all along.

No other news to report, and sorry I don't have a picture yet today... but we'll try to capture something cute!

Kandids

We have taken many good pictures of and with Audrina over the past 6 months, but for her 1/2 year birthday I wanted to have something more professional done. So we packed up and headed off to Kiddie Kandids, with the idea that if she lost it and didn't want pictures taken, we would give up and head home... no high expectations.

But she did pretty well. Actually the pictures show that she did better than she actually did.

Couldn't get all 3 of us to smile at the same time. When trying to make a baby smile its hard to remember to look at the correct place and smile yourself.

After this picture she had had enough and was not willing to take one with just her Papa Bear... so next time we'll have to start with him!

6 months!

It is so hard to believe that 6 months has already passed, but it also seems like we have had Audrina in our life forever!

Similar to last weeks 'nice hats'. But this week Audrina is wearing her old Italian man hat.
We spent Audrina's 6 month birthday at the pool! The pool down the street from us has recently been remodeled, and I think we will be spending a lot of time there in the next few years.

For her first time in the water, she did very well. She only fussed for a couple of seconds and then figured out how to splash, and enjoyed being walked around.





We can't wait to go back next week!

Pampering

On Saturday Zach surprised me with a day for the 2 of us at the spa! Much needed and appreciated. He even had roses waiting for me at the salon. Gram and Gramp Howard watched Drina for a few hours and had a great time with her. Overall, it was a great day.
